Description:

Youth service organization ages 6-18 in after school enrichment activities focused on academic success, healthy lifestyles, citizenship, take place when school in in school year form 3-6:30-7 each night
school day out summer holiday break- provide full day services, do mentoring, tutoring, arts and crafts, sports and recreation, art development

Program Type:

in-person

Certificate Type:

There is no certification but sports programs recognize participation, completion really uses measurements of outcomes, grade progression from one grade to next, measurement of academic skill mastery, ex reading level, etc. These are recognized in different ways than a certificate

Schedule:

After school programs take place from 3-7 PM each night
During summer and holiday breaks provide full day services

longterm impact of kids- every child that comes through our doors to have post secondary opportunities- education, military, jobs

Meals Provided:

provide full meals during summer program
provide after school snacks in partnership with bread of the mighty foodbank
2016-17 school year expect to have full meals after school

outside of the school system, Boys and Girls Club is the largest organization that provides summer care and after school care

Scholarships:

financial assistance for those who cannot afford cost of programsall programs are available for scholarship sports, aftercare, summer campput a lot of support on community annual membership fee is $60 per childtransportation is an additional cost

Comments:

Program is first and foremost for the kids to provide resources that they would not otherwise have access to. Our program is very thankful for our donors and stakeholders and completely dependent on them.

Cost:

Annual membership fee is $60 per child, transportation fee is an additional cost. Scholarships are available if students cannot afford these fees.
